About this course

The Elevating Work Platform Course in Mackay will equip you with the knowledge and skills to safely operate an elevated work platform (EWP) with boom length over 11m for use within the mining construction and general construction industries.

If you are required to operate an elevated work platform, you will need to hold a current High Risk Work Licence – WP.

Momentum High Risk Training will provide all training materials and stationery.

  • You’re welcome to bring your own lunch as fridges and crib rooms are available for use; or
  • Various lunch options are available close by at the Mackay Harbour

Course outcomes

You will receive a Statement of Attainment in TLILIC0005 Licence to operate a boom-type elevated work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) issued by Halo Nation Training (RTO No. 32485) and an Candidate Assessment Summary will be emailed once you have been deemed competent.

To apply for your High Risk Work Licence (HRWL), please contact Work Safe QLD online within 60 days of your completed assessment.  Please retain your Candidate Assessment Summary (CAS) as proof of evidence until your HRWL arrives by mail.
